Congratulations to Hull City who wake up this morning a Premiership team, which must be a fantastic feeling, not least for their accountants. Michael Turner didn't score but was certainly a match winner, blocking what looked a certain equaliser, yet another in a long list of fine players who left Brentford far too cheaply, he said bitterly.

For anyone planning to get involved in the final round of the BMW PGA Championship from Wentworth, the rain has arrived in the south-east, a lot fell overnight and thunder storms are not out of the question this afternoon. If the rain gets into the course, it will play very long and big hitters will be favoured, with the par 5's completely out of reach in two shots, for all but the longest on tour.

I have previewed six events on the email service today, circa 1500 words and seven selections, although one was given a couple of weeks ago. Undecided at the moment about what to post on the blog, anybody interested in receiving the daily newsletter, can find full details on the website , or are welcome to email me with any questions.

Good Luck with your bets today.
