SOUTHERN PREMIER LEAGUE ..... PLAY OFFS

I recently wrote about a trip to watch my local side, Maidenhead United, play, a visit which has already provided a winner and promised that we would return to discuss this league in the post season, that article can be read here.

The Magpies have now made the play-offs, they have had an amazing run, with 13 wins from their last 15 starts, only losing to the top 2 teams in the division. Very tight defensively, they have kept 11 clean sheets in 14 and are ideally suited to playing away.

This is just as well, because these play-off matches are played to a finish ( extra-time and penalties) over one leg, with the higher placed team, having home advantage. They visit King's Lynn and United have already taken 4 points off them this season, which interestingly came pre Christmas, before the visitors went on their amazing run.

All the momentum seems to be with Johnson Hippolyte's team, who are playing with a lot of confidence and not a little quality. I would prefer to be on with a 1/4 ball start, but have not seen any asian quotes, so it will have to be a straight win bet, given Maidenhead's defensive strength, a small saver on 0-0 seems wise.

This is going to be covered live on Radio Norfolk, not sure how much actual commentary there will be, but with the broadcast available on the internet, it might be worth checking out.

4 points Maidenhead United 3.25 Paddy Power // 3.0 Bet 365 win 1-0 + 8 points on match

1 point 0-0 draw 8.50 general.

Back shortly.
