Spurs on familiar ground .......
Last four selections have won, so looking to continue the good run tonight, when Tottenham make the short trip north to play Stevenage Borough.
Sorry about the odds, but this is a very likely winner, this is the 6th year running that these two have played in a pre season fixture, the clubs having a close relationship. Spurs have won the previous five, 8-1, 4-0, 2-0, 2-1 and last year 3-0, they normally take a strong squad and a large travelling support.
Martin Jol's side are in terrific form, in France they played 3 matches beating Nice 1-0, Bordeaux 2-1 and Spanish club Celta, 2-0. Returning to England they beat Birmingham, at St Andrews by the same 2-0 scoreline, over the weekend.
Tottenham are likely to field several members of the first team, as some are short of match practice, after missing the French trip. Actually, any reserves will be very much at home, as the Spurs B team play their home games at the Stevenage ground. They won their championship last season by 12 points.
Borough have played three warm up games, all at home against Championship opposition, losing all of them, to QPR 4-1, Luton 2-1 and Crystal Palace 3-0.
We have to back the Londoners giving up 1.75 goals, but feel a 2 goal victory is the minimum we can expect.
5 points Tottenham -1.75 goals asian line 1.76

Hi Mike,
It was the standard asian line at the time of posting.
When I looked 15 minutes ago it was down to 1.70.
At that time Pinnacle had a little higher.
Hope that helps.
Regards.
