A Swedish contact of mine......

... passses on a good word for Norrkoping IFK today. They travel to meet Trelleborg FF in a Superettan fixture where the visitors have a great record, with 5 wins and two draws in the last 8 meetings.

The team from East Sweden are steadily climbing the table after a slow start. Having picked up only 2 points from the opening 4 games, they have earned 23 from the last 11 matches, that form would give them 63 points and promotion in virtually any season.

Trelleborg are top of the league and only conceded 3 goals in 15 starts, an amazing record. My information is that they have been over achieving and that the run must end soon. The two sides met in the reverse fixture just six days ago and IFK had much the better of the play, in a goal less draw.

Strongly feel that we will have another tight struggle today and a lay of Trelleborg looks the way to go, alternatively you can back Norrkoping +1/2 on the asian handicap.

My second choice is Ham-Kam to get something out of the trip to Stabaek in Norwegian Eliteserien. The home team have a very strange record at their own ground this season, where they have drawn all six matches.

This midweek at home in the cup, they again failed to win, drawing 2-2 after extra time and losing on penalties to Division 1 side, Sogndal.

Today they are without midfielder/playmaker Tommy Stenersen, who has made many of the teams goals this season.

Ham-Kam have shown improved form recently, beating clear leaders Brann 4-0 last week, winning at Rosenborg 3-0 in their last away game and with a decent cup win in between. They are without their first choice goalkeeper today, but have an able replacement.

Last two league meetings have finished all square and we can expect something similar today, toyed with the idea of a straight bet on the away win, but feel a lay of Stabaek is the better option.

lay 3 points Trelleborg 2.04 betfair.
lay 3 points Stabaek 2.14 betfair.

Good Luck.
