Kim comes here in top form and a 24 match unbeaten run on summer hard courts. This is Maria's first tournament since Wimbledon and she won a close semi with Patty Schnyder,
7-5 6-4, yesterday.
Clijsters reached the final in more impressive style beating Nicole Vaidisova, who enters the top 10 on Monday, 6-2 7-6.
She dominates the h2h, leading 4-0, all were on hard courts, 3 of them took place in the US and she has won 7 of last 8 sets, the only loss being a tie break.
A finalist here in 2003, when she lost in 3 to Henin-Hardene, Kim can go one better tonight and
is a confident selection.
