WSOP Update ........

Still seven days until we know the "main event" final table at the WSOP.

After six days play, we are just winding up day two (it's complicated), from now on it will be much easier to follow the action.

8773 players entered the tournament, so almost $88m in prize money, surprisingly only 3% of entrants were women, down from 5% last year.

Top 12 finishers will all collect over $1m, the winner a whopping $12m, I remember the furore that surrounded Chris Moneymaker winning $2.5m and that was only 3 years ago. To really see how far poker has come, this years 18th place finisher, will pick up more than Johnny Chan got for winning in 1987.

Looking like two, maybe even three selections today, will be back later this morning with the first.

Good Luck.
