ALMERIA - REAL MADRID
Almeria have had a tough couple of weeks, failing to beat a Seville "B" team and then conceding five first half goals to Barcelona last week. Strangely enough, they might have more luck against Real, who seem incapable of keeping a cleansheet. The champions from Madrid, have conceded in their last eight and in 10 from 12 all season, despite which, they are on a long unbeaten run in what could be termed "competitive" matches, finding a way to win 5 of their last six. They did lose 3-2 to a 3rd division side in the cup in midweek, but that was way down their list of priorities and anyway, they have the home leg still to come and the opportunity to turn that one around. They travel without De la Red, who collapsed in that game and also several others including RVN, Torres and Salgado.
It is hard not to see a similar story today, Real conceding but grinding out the win, that will take them level at the top with great rivals Barcelona. Every Real start this season has averaged over 32 attempts on goal, an incredible total and great value for money. No signs of things slowing up, as the last three have contained 34, 35 and 40 in the Madrid derby. "Over" for me.
6 points "over" 3 goals 2.23 asian line.Good Luck.
