CHAMPIONSHIP ..............

SWANSEA CITY - BARNSLEY

Hosts are missing a couple of key players, but Darren Pratley's absence is offset by the return from suspension of Leon Britton and Roberto Martinez's squad is big and decent enough to handle the situation, although Ferrie Bodde will be impossible to replace. Still, City are a quality side and have now come to terms with the fact that he will be missing for most of the season, which was probably going to be the case, when the transfer window opened anyway.

The injury situation at Barnsley is getting dire, they are likely to be without seven players tonight , have few options and claim that the squad is down "to the bare bones" and will pick itself. They have not scored for 219 minutes and were outplayed, on home soil, by a Reading side reduced to ten men for an hour at the weekend.

Big game for City who need the win to stay in touch with the playoff spots. They are strong at the Liberty Stadium, where they have already thumped Wolves, beaten Hull and outplayed, but failed to get the win over QPR and Birmingham, they do not face anything of that calibre this evening.

6 points Swansea -3/4 ball given @2.11 asian line.... NOW 1.94

Back later.
