THE CHAMPIONSHIP..... LEICESTER CITY- DERBY COUNTY

This is a local derby and both teams will be up for it, however, as I explained recently, Leicester and their new owner, only have eyes for next season and the off season cannot come quickly enough for them.

Heard an interview with one of their players last night and he kind of confirmed that. City have had problems at the Walkers Stadium since the league kicked off in August, recording just 6 wins in 19 starts. The defence has struggled recently, giving up 13 goals in the last 6.

Billy Davies has done a wonderful job at County, turning them around in double quick time, in what was meant to be a 3 year plan to get into the Premiership. The secret for them, which is not really a secret, as you only have to look at the league table, is that they do not draw, only Barnsley have registered fewer on the road. Instead they go for the win, 12 away victories is easily the division's best and they will be looking to "nick" this one today.

Three points will increase the gap on Sunderland to six points and with Crystal Palace, currently in 12th, the highest placed team they have left to play, they would have, if not a foot, at least one toe, in the Premiership.

The asian line is set at level ball and/or -1/4, but given their lack of draws, I feel the straight win is a better option on this occasion, away win for me.

4 points Derby County -1/4 ball asian line (ko 15.45 cet). Result 1-1 -2 pts

Good Luck.
