This is a crunch game for Barnsley and they really have to look for all three points. Palace are going to continue with the youngsters, who earned a fine 3-1 win at Swansea on Saturday. Yorkshire on a Tuesday night in mid March, is very different from a sunny South Wales afternoon, to say nothing of the fantastic pitch at the Liberty Stadium and conditions might not suit the London side so well. However, boss Neil Warnock wants to give his young side experience ahead of next season and has all but given up on a promotion push this time round, so, expect his team to play free from pressure.
Warnock's team scored three at Swansea, led 2-0 until at Burnley and completely outplayed Preston albeit only by 2-1, in their last three starts. Those are three high flying teams and if Palace can score so freely against them, they should be able to manage a couple against the Tykes. Barnsley games under fllodlights normally produce goals and 7 of the last 9 night fixtures at Oakwell have been "over", I expect this to follow suit.
