SATURDAY PLANS ...........

It was a shame that Guingamp could not hold on to their lead last night, but the half time draw bet was successful and no damage done, actually subscribers enjoyed a small profit on the evening and we are sitting on a very nice surplus this week.

Actually, "sitting on" is not really the appropriate term, as we are heavily involved in today's action. I was up very early this morning to put the finishing touches to the newsletter, which included previews of eight matches and nine selections. This was an even split as I covered four domestic games and a similar number from mainland Europe, so, something for everyone ! The email was sent before 9 am UK time, ran to some 1700 hundred words and offers terrific value at around two euros per day, details are on the website www.predictuwin.com .

I will be covering several of these on the blog throughout the day, so please check back, but remember, the only way to receive all my selections, is by subscribing to the newsletter.

Just a few words about my beloved Bees, they sit proudly atop Division 2, with a four point lead and boasting a superior goal difference over their rivals. Brentford face a very tough trip to Rotherham today, who have not conceded a goal in 428 minutes of football, but then they have not been facing team's of the calibre of Andy Scott's boys. If the Bees can collect three points today, they will be in a very strong position to clinch promotion, with seven of their final eleven starts on home soil. We do not get a lot of success down at Griffin Park and when we do, we like to make the most of it and party plans are already being made..... touch wood !

Back later.
