Disappointing week on the blog, at least since Monday, Bristol City had enough chances (18, including 11 on target) to have won, but couldn't find a way through a dogged Blackpool defence. Oxford created some good chances early, but were up against it after being reduced to ten men.
It could be worse, I could be an Arsenal supporter, who failed to score for the fourth straight league game, the first time this has happened to them in over 15 years. They are fifth in the Premier League, in the quarter finals of the FA Cup and the last 16 of the Champions League, where they take a lead and cleansheet to Rome ! What a terrible season !
To listen to some supporters on the phone-in's you would think that they have just been relegated out of the Football League, get a life guys ! The Gunners have played most of the season, without 5-6 starters and to consider this an utter failure is a joke !
Brentford are top of Division 2, 64 league places below Arsenal and our success starved supporters are running around like giddy schoolkids ! If following a winning team is all you crave, then forget Arsenal and get yourself down to Griffin Park !
