DIVISION 2 ALDERHOT - LUTON TOWN
We discussed the Chester-Grimsby game yesterday, reproduced below and those are the two teams that Luton have not yet given up all hope of catching, despite suffering a massive 30 point deduction pre season. They are 14 points behind City with two games in hand and meet Town in midweek, so are really targeting a win today, to keep those dreams alive.
Aldershot are having big problems, as we have discussed in detail recently, they have won just once in 13 starts since Boxing Day, have not scored in seven half's of football and are ideal opponents for Luton.
The visitors have lost just once in six road games and will be looking for a hat-trick having won their last two away games. Unlike the home side, they are creating a massive amount of goalscoring chances and have managed at least seven on target ( a big number) in their last four starts.
Town have been ahead at the break in eight of last nine league wins and facing such a goal shy opponent, look value to do likewise today.
